About IVEST
Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar Educational and Social Trust (IVEST) had formed in June 2013 in Kolkata, West Bengal by a group of people from academic and professional fields.
As the name suggests, the trust has been established following the principles of the great educationist and social reformer of Bengal, Shri Iswarchandra Vidyasagar.
The main purpose of the trust is to establish an educational and social public charitable trust to identify and provide financial assistance to meritorious students from socially and economically backward families/communities presently residing in West Bengal for pursuing their higher studies and other public charitable causes.
