Subhadip passed Madhyamik Examination from Kenduadihi High School, Bankura scoring 599 marks. His father Shyam sundar Dey does cycle repairing job in a roadside shop in Bankura town. Realising that it was not in the means of his father to economically support in the higher studies, he left the hope of becoming an engineer or a doctor. He hopes to do M.A. in English and wants to be a teacher English. IVEST has selected him for scholarship.
