Dipendu’s father is a driver at a remote place called Parulia in the Burdwan district. With a meager monthly income of Rs.5000, it was very difficult to maintain a family of three, especially when Dipendu’s sister is also studying in college in the second year with Hons. in Sanskrit and mother being a housewife. Parulia Kula Kamini High School earned glory to his school. Subjectwise marks of Dipendu are Bengali-91, English-87, Philosophy-95, Sanskrit-86, Education-87, and Geography-96. He wants to repay the debt he received from the field of education by becoming a school teacher. IVEST scholarship has been granted to him too.
